Volunteering in the UK

Volunteering doesn't have to be done in a developing country amongst the poorest people on the planet to bring a sense of satisfaction.

There are many deserving cases right on your doorstep. You might also find that if you do voluntary work close to home it will make you more involved in your own community.

Your local knowledge will be invaluable and you could gain some valuable insights into what you'd like to do in the future. The flexibility of being at home means you could balance more than one project at a time.
